How to return to an AlphaPDF editing workspace
Use Recent documents to locate an available workspace in the browser session or account that created it.
GuidesTo continue available AlphaPDF work, start with Recent documents in the site navigation. Use the same owning browser session or signed-in account; a different session may show a different or empty history.
Check context before starting over
If your work is absent, first check which browser and account you are using. An empty list in another session does not establish that your original file was deleted. Avoid uploading a second copy before checking the context where you began.
A workspace is not your only copy
AlphaPDF’s guidance recommends keeping a downloaded copy. Free editor work does not have the Premium 1/7/30-day selector, and deleted or unavailable work should not be treated as recoverable storage. Save source and finished files independently when you need them.
Steps in AlphaPDF
- Return to AlphaPDF in the browser session or account used for the work.
- Open Recent documents and find the matching document by its name and available details.
- Open the available workspace and inspect the page count and visible edits before continuing.
- When ready, export subject to the current allowance and save the result with a clear version name.
Check the result
Confirm that you resumed the intended version, especially if several uploads have similar names. Review the edits you expected to find; the mere presence of a history row is not proof that every intended change is present.
Do not rely on an old link as a permanent backup. This guide does not promise recovery of deleted, expired or otherwise unavailable files. Keep your own saved copies for long-term use.
Open AlphaPDF’s PDF editor to review the current controls, file limits and export allowance before starting.
