What it does
HTML to PDF takes an .html or .htm file you upload and lays it out on paginated PDF pages. You choose the paper size and orientation. For safety, scripts are stripped and nothing is fetched from the internet, so the page is rendered from what is inside the file itself.
When to use it
Use it for invoices, receipts, reports or email templates that your own system produces as HTML. It works well when the HTML is self contained, with styles in the file and images embedded.
How to use HTML to PDF
- Sign in with an account that has Premium access.
- Upload .html, .htm files. Each file can be up to 50 MB, with up to 25 files per batch.
- Review the available settings and choose a 1, 7 or 30-day retention period.
- Start the job, then download and check the result before its retention period ends.
Before you start
Scripts are removed and remote images, stylesheets and fonts are not fetched. Use self-contained content; choose Webpage to PDF for a public URL instead.
Remote stylesheets, web fonts and linked images are not loaded, so a page that depends on them will look plainer. Pages that build their content with JavaScript will come out mostly empty.
Processing limits
Up to 50 MB per input; 25 files and 500 MB per batch. PDF limit: 2000 pages. Up to 2 active jobs per account. Output limit: 1000 MB. Renderer limits can reject especially large pages or images.

Common questions
Why do my images not show?
Linked images are not downloaded. Embed them in the HTML as data URLs or use Webpage to PDF for a live site.
Can I capture a live website?
Not with this tool. Webpage to PDF takes a public URL and renders it in a browser.
Can I set margins with CSS?
Print styles in the file, such as @page rules, are respected where the renderer supports them.
Can I upload a ZIP of a site?
No. Upload the HTML files themselves. Each one becomes a separate PDF.
