What it does
PDF to TIFF renders the pages you choose into a single multi-page TIFF file. You can set the DPI and switch to grayscale, which is common for document archives and fax-style workflows.
When to use it
Use it when a records system, document scanner workflow or legal archive asks for TIFF rather than PDF.
How to use PDF to TIFF
- Sign in with an account that has Premium access.
- Upload .pdf files. Each file can be up to 50 MB, with up to 25 files per batch.
- The output is set to TIFF. Review the available settings and choose a 1, 7 or 30-day retention period.
- Start the job, then download and check the result before its retention period ends.

Not every image viewer shows every page of a multi-page TIFF. High DPI settings make large files quickly.
Processing limits
Up to 50 MB per input; 25 files and 500 MB per batch. PDF limit: 2000 pages. Up to 2 active jobs per account. Output limit: 1000 MB. Renderer limits can reject especially large pages or images.

Common questions
Do I get one file or many?
One TIFF file with all the selected pages inside it.
Why do I only see the first page?
Some viewers only show the first frame. Open the file in a viewer that supports multi-page TIFF.
Should I use grayscale?
For text-only documents it keeps files smaller. Keep colour for charts and photos.
Is the text searchable?
No. Each page is an image. Keep the PDF if you need search.
